I love a good picture of tweens in flattering-but-age-appropriate formalwear, and the Apatows have always been on their game, just under the radar. Maude’s simple but elegant dress and updo make this my favorite look of the winter so far. But don’t get too comfortable — it’s awards season soon, and no one does a red carpet like Shipka. Also, parents are embarrassing.
