Well, this is new information. Turns out, Ben Affleck and Hillary Clinton are kind of friends? They appeared together at a charity event on Thursday, where she said:
“I’ve known this young man for a long time and I have watched him start his own family with three beautiful children and a wife that makes it all work. I have enjoyed him in person, I have enjoyed him on the screen, but I particularly admire his commitment.”
Hillary Clinton has glowing things to say about the Afflecks? Ugh. I’m trying to be annoyed, because I voted for Hillary in 2008 and I feel kind of betrayed, but I guess I understand. Hillary and Violet are, after all, both smart women who struggle sartorially. I bet it would take me less than thirty seconds to find a picture of Violet Affleck wearing something scrunchie-like.
